Liminal spaces are transitional areas or thresholds designed to be passed through rather than inhabited. Psychologically, the unease or mystery they convey stems from "kenopsia" a term describing the eerie atmosphere of a place that is usually bustling with life but now stands abandoned or silent. "Liminal Spaces" is an album comprising nine such spaces; it reflects a sonic aesthetic that seeks to evoke the very same feeling found in images of liminal spaces: the uncanny sensation of being in an in-between place solitary, nostalgic, and suspended in time.
